University of Zululand (UNIZULU)

Established in 1960 in KwaDlangezwa as a college for Zulu students under apartheid segregation policies. It gained university status in 1970. Post-apartheid, it has expanded its mission while maintaining focus on serving the rural communities of northern KwaZulu-Natal.
